Seize the day--Make the Most of EVERY Opportunity
Welcome to Kay's Copy! I am Kay Adkins, an author and trained copywriter, BUT no longer working as a copywriter. (Sorry!) God has placed a number of topics on my heart to begin writing about, and this website will be the outlet for poetry, essays, blog posts, as I wrestle with the issues of today's world as they relate to being people of Faith. I don't know about you, but I am sensing daily a new urgency to : #1. Be seriously intentional about daily living the Gospel--letting Jesus have my agenda, looking into the eyes of people, trying to connect so that He can reach out to them through me. #2. Pray. Prayer from the tiniest issue to the global issues. Prayer especially for my family and friends who are missing out on the adventure of knowing and enjoying the Creator of everything. Daily I am saddened by news of horrendous tragedies--wars, destruction by natural events, murders, trafficking of women and children. Daily I look to the sky and see these amazing cloud formations I've never seen before, and I say, "Come quickly, Lord Jesus! We need you." To encourage and inspire-- Kay Adkins |
